Beat Report Week of 10/21/2024

I did not expect the first update since late summer to go this knee deep in to autumn, but hey were just that busy between local shows, tour support, and projects that fill the remaining void of our spare time. Or maybe we really just had nothing to write home about and repeating ourselves with promises that are constantly moment away from being a moment away. It could all be true. But in reality I enjoy writing these updates when I remember to write them. So there you go.

Fall can have an intellectual harvest collecting thoughts and cultivating concepts to bring into what is for us a more solid production season in the dead of winter. The 2024 Theme of “Make Shit…Happen” is rounding into form just in time to start figuring our what in the hell the 2025 theme is going to be. Please hold me to that be Thanksgiving we have something in mind for that forward momentum for Lost Beat 6 and our friends.

I’ve personally been fortunate to get to know our community in the past six months and I’m very excited from what I’ve seen and heard, the potential to create real movement within the Ventura County confines and perhaps beyond. Though I must not be to meta to ruin it all.

November 2nd Ojai Valley Brewing

Ok with all that being said we are putting on a show with our friends from Motel Media November 2nd at the Ojai Valley Inn. We have a lineup of Twice as Clever, Matterform, Hapi Capricorn, Blood Boys and The Denim Emperor with Venom Millennium.

We’ve been spoiled on this one with three different posters for this one from Anthony Pelosi, Cat Henry, and Jason Brock respectively.

Taverna Vinyl Update

Test pressings have been approved and pressing has commenced. More updates to follow as they begin to ship from the plant in Paris.

Tapes Are Here Coming Along Too!

We’re prepping to have them all ready to go for the November 2nd Show.
